Justin, is there a way we can get the ship plans threads moved to their own area? Or maybe stickied so that people won't have to go searching through old threads to find them?

I think Mike was suggesting putting them all in one place, sticky-like, so they're easy to find for new people.

A set up similar to the scuttlebutt would be nice... you click a link for plans, then have two categories - 1/96 and 1/144. click what size you want, then it lists all of the plans available. click the plans, and it instantly downloads.

Mike's Bearn thread needs to be stickied too. It looks to be a very valuable resource.

A plans suppository? That sounds uncomfortable...

I'll see if I can look up and link to all of the plan threads. Most of them were in the construction forum I think and have long since gotten buried by newer threads.

All the ones I posted have the words 'free plans' in the title, if that helps

Would this new repo be a tip/trick or a technical category?

Thanks Justin! People should be able to find them easily now. :)

You missed one by the way. The Bearn plans aren't listed. Hmm .... I could edit my build post and include the Bearn plan links. Yeah. I'll do that ...

To keep the ship plans area as more of a list of ship plans and prevent it from becoming too congested with plans requests/plans discussions that don't provide plans or otherwise actual data accessible to the community, how about a single thread in which people list sources for plans online outside of rcnavalcombat and a single thread for people to post inquiries/requests?
Still permitting/encouraging discussion of a particular set of plans within the thread for those plans seems like a good idea as it allows people to see what others in the community think about the plans or if there are any issues or suggestions regarding that particular set of plans.
