    Rob you seem to have the Allied flotation device figured out pretty good. When you go axis you will find your boat wont need one.

    The best flotation is keeping your balsa intact. :p

    The whole thing out of foam? i dont know if i could do that. On the lion, could i just have a section that has the 3 stacks and the turrent lift up? would that be sufficent?

    sorry buster, but if you can, be more specific with your answers. Were you "yes"ing the first 1 or last 2?

    Yes to both. If you use wood you will find that floats just as well. Foam can me used on inside of superstructure make it float . Or you can make it all foam. What ever you like as log as you can make it float.

    HELL, Carl C has a fiberglass ss that floats. ( no foam inside)

    Just make it float anyways you can.

    Spray foam can do wonders inside a super for flotation.

    My stupidstructure is foam covered in rubber, Floats and is bb proof.

    Plato, how do you want to work the Bismarck? Should I mail the check or pay cash to you?

    For a captain of Robs Caliber one would think the hull would be free as a lets say Gift [}:)]

    I never did understand why they call it the "dark" side. After all, there's plenty of light on this side, too. It's just in the higher frequency ranges, somewhere between X-ray and Gamma-ray.
