Finally had some free time yesterday. I got a 2nd coat of resin over the main deck sealed to the hull of both Tirptiz and Missouri. Nagato's main decks were trimmed. Konig has it's main deck one side resin. Vdt had it's main deck cut out but it was a disaster so I ripped the remaining section of deck out because I was pissed. I damaged the upper edge of the midships casemates.. The Sintra deck became brittle and the resin on it broke off of it. Back to the wood deck. Fortunatly I figured I might have an issue with cutting it out so I had a back up deck section cut out already. I'll get that one on the hull and get it right this time.
Tom Cromwell got the bow and stern deck sections bondo putty over. It went on very well and very smooth.
Virubus Unitis needs it's float test to mark out the waterline at full battle weight.
Other than that I won't get at it again till next Tuesday. That day I hope to have the deck hatches cut out for both Tirpitz and Missouri.
