Has anyone ever heard of a hull made of this? As long as it isn't too heavy, I was thinking of making one that was about 1/8 thick with threaded nuts inset into the hull to connect the deck to.

I'd probably use the mehoshi maru plans to make a wood hull, then make an inner and outer mold and fill the mold with RTV.

I can't edit the above post.

Anyone know if things can be glued to silicone rubber/RTV.

Pretty much nothing will stick to silicone rubber.

You can use a certain form of RTV as a way to make molds. But useing it to make a hull... Well in my humble opinion it would not work out too well.
