Photos of our Nats event are posted in the photo area.
    Bobo had his Bama.
    Mike D. had his Courageous.
Phil had his Newport News, and his Suffren.
    Eric (no-bull) had his Markgraf.
Mikey had the Renown, and Strasbourg.
Bat was there to help out and run video as well.

Fleet battle #1 was Europe against the U.S.
So Courageous, Renown, and Markgraf took on Bama and Newport News.

Mike's Courageous sank in the first sortie after having something clog up his pump inlet.
Bobo's Bama sank in the second sortie when he forgot to turn on the pump till he was almost deck's awash.
Mike was able to re-join the battle in the second sortie also.
Europe was able to work well as a team in the second sortie, and the Markgraf was almost sunk. But almost doesn't count in R/C combat.

Fleet battle # 2 was the Renown, and Courageous against the Markgraf, and Suffren.
No sinks this battle, but a lot of close quarters fighting.

    Eric's Markgraf is still un-sunk...
    More later.

Just thought I would post some info on Friday's battles.

Bob H. arrived Thursday evening, and was running the Strasbourg. Roland showed up in time for the last fleet battle today, with his Bismarck.

    Fleet battle # 3
Bama, Courageous, and Renown, against Markgraf, Strasbourg, and Suffren.
I don't think anyone sank in this battle, but I think there was a ram penalty against someone, which would have determined the outcome of the battle. I will post more on this later.

    Fleet battle #4
Bama, Renown, and Newport News (Mike D.), against Markgraf, Bismarck, and Strasbourg.
No sinks again, and I think I recall a ram penalty in this battle also.
Keep in mind that as we do not count damage, (just sinks), a damaging ram penalty can cost a fleet a win.

Bat was on-hand again today to assist with boat launching, and such, and ran the video camera.
Everyone had a grand old time, running boats with friends.

Eric (No-bull) Noble was NOT sunk again today.
    More later.
    Mikey

    Hello all,
I just posted the 60 some odd pictures I took at our Treaty Nats ( Washington Naval Conference) on the Treaty Yahoo site.
Great weather the entire time. Temps in the high 70's with no humidity and a nice wind.
Twelve captains battled during the event and I would have to say that fun was had by all. Good battling with sinks, however I can't remember who sank. Great site, great people and the best site host I have ever met.
Tom, the owner of the pond is talking about building harbors and such.
If you did not make the event you really missed a great time. I have to say that it was the most fun I've ever had battling.
Thanks to all the Ohio guys. You all put on a great event and I salute you all.
Thanks Phil, for the help on the Alabama. And for the movie showing of Bordello of Blood. An instant classic.
    Bobo

    All,
Do not believe the propaganda that the FroggyFrenchman is putting out about an Alabama sinking in Xenia Oh. I posted every picture that I had of the event and cannot find any evidence of this ever happening.

I am on the run getting ready for work just now, but wanted to post something short about the event.
Most fun I have ever had at an r/c combat event.
Great weather, host, boats, and friends.
Thanks to all that helped make the event all that it was, by just showing up to support what we are about.
I will add more when I get a chance, but it was a great time, with great folks.
    Thanks again.
    Mikey

    Mikey,
This is off topic but wanted to know where you got the foam for the s/s and what it is called?
    Thanks,

If I get a chance over the weekend, and can figure out how to do it, I'll try to post my Nats pictures.

I noticed there is plenty of photographic evidence to the sinking of the San Fransisco.........but strangly none of the Bama's sinking....sorry I was there she went down ...but not to enemy action.....but still no evidence....I suspect a conspiracy....hehe
