Added some aluminum angle tonight held in with e600 to hold my batteries in place.

Then went ahead and threw in my guts and all my wiring minus actual solenoids and pump because I don’t have them yet. The two center batteries are wired parallel to my pump esc and gun boards. The two outer batteries will plug directly into my drive esc’s.

Got to dig my chronograph out of the shed to test some different gun variations and see what provides the most consistent fps during rapid firing. Trying a short run of all 1/8” hose on this one from the tee to the mag in order to have the whole system pressurize faster and see what happens.

Not much time in the boat tonight I’m waiting on a few parts for guns to come in tomorrow so tonight I just dressed up my decks a bit since the epoxy was nice and cured. Can’t wait to finish and paint and cover up all my sharpy marks everywhere.

That is the plan, trying to have everything squared away and tested well before then.

The new 1.5 unit pump rule passed. Might be a good fit in the Malaya. ;)

I dislike patching.. after battling a Bismarck at nats years ago in oakboro and the patching that went down when my guns started being unreliable half way through the week if I take that much damage off a one unit pump I just assume sink.. I’d rather have the bb’s in a sidemount. Lol

I’m hoping to perfect my guns enough that atleast they give me a good crack every pull on them to stay dangerous.

224 fps is the highest I’ve been able to achieve running my shop compressor at 110psi. Shooting singles every time and sounds decent. Went away from drilled pistons because this specific 1/8” hose fitting on the bottom was giving me spurts since the fitting was centered under the piston hole.

263fps hooked up to a bottle with a questionable fill.. try to tweak any harder and I get spurts instead of singles

    Thanks!

Not sure about the batteries performance wise all I’ve done is make sure they had a good storage charge on them. I may have to fire it up skin it and drive it around and see since I’ll be waiting on solenoids a bit longer before I can complete the whole thing.

They appear to be well made hopefully as good as the zee and goldbat packs I really like those. They were $39 a set so hopefully ok.

Added some screws and steel strips to be able to be able to loosen them up to change turret angles then tighten back down to keep the barbette in place and guns secured.. My nylon tubing should be in tomorrow so I will make them and mount them up tomorrow.

    IMG_6085.jpeg IMG_6086.jpeg IMG_6087.jpeg

Also glued in mounts for my drive esc’s, still debating on where the pump esc will go. Just trying to not pack everything in where it’s hard to get to and switch out.

I like that may do something similar since I have brass and get away from the zip ties but for some reason I like them. I e6k the little zip tie mounts to the bottom and was going to go that route.

I don't see any reason why that wouldn't work.

I typically e6000 some velcro to the item and then to the boat. Sometimes if I'm being exceptionally lazy I just CA the esc into the boat...pops free easy enough with a little percussion.

I can’t remember the last time I attached an ESC to the boat, generally they find a spot based on where everything else is and wire length
