Hi guys, Please do me a favor and check out the following Google Forms questionnaire to help me organize hulls into a specific priority order. Responses will heavily influence what ships are completed the soonest. Thanks https://forms.gle/fm6F29uhFtaGmaq97
So, directly interested = "I will pay money for this"??? (I presume) Also, I can provide some help with NC superstructure. I may have one printed here somewhere... (Also, I wish there was a way to ranked choice this or something.)
Yes, interested as in if this was on the store tomorrow/near future/etc I would seriously consider buying it. If theres multiple you're interested in...pick them all
More votes have filtered in overnight. The current standings are: Texas and Derfflinger tied for #1 HMS Renown firmly holds 2nd place Third place is tied between Ise and Enterprise 4th place is a multi-way-tie between HMS Canada, RN Zara, USS West Virginia, HMS Agincourt, and HMS Queen Mary
Well Derf would be 100% easier to complete. I know a guy who already has the files for a combat one..
Hi Guys The SJS Hull Priority Poll has closed. The results are below. NOTE: There is actually 1 vote for Shokaku not 0 via the ship write-in box, the user didn't notice the ship on the poll list. In addition, the following ships were suggested in the suggestion box: HMS Black Prince (If anyone has plans for Minotaur, please let me know!) Littorio (Is on the list, just more towards the "eventually" timeline) USS Tennessee ACR (We already make this ship ) Baden Kongo, especially WWI version HMS King George V (BB) (Two votes for this ship) Delaware or Florida WWI Hood HSwMS Gotland, 1933 USS Tennessee (BB) (In the refit form, very similar to USS West Virginia, but I understand the desire for trips vs duals) To that end, we have come up with the following "Two Ships a Month" planned release schedule for the next few months leading up to/immediately after Nationals. Two ships a month is in air quotes because that rule might get violated as convoy ships/carriers are a lot less work than a combat ship, and we keep getting better/faster at rolling these things out. Some ships are specifically commissioned by specific captains, meaning they have committed (monetarily) to buy a specific hull to essentially jump the line a few places. Life also has a way of getting in the way, so we may end up missing a deadline here or there or having a sprint session here or there. We will also break up the by-vote order once in a while to make sure we're providing some variety in life, not just pounding out 6 months worth of dreadnoughts while we do no cruisers/carriers/etc. February: HMS Erin, HMS Tiger, USS Pensacola, USS Baltimore (Wrapping up the sprint) March: USS Texas 1945, SMS Derfflinger, USS Essex/Ticonderoga (By Commission) April: IJN Ise, USS Enterprise CV-6 May: SMS Seydlitz, HMS Renown 1945 June: USS Iowa (By Commission) + IRCWCC NATIONALS! July: HMS Canada, USS West Virginia 1945 August: HMS Fiji, HMS Agincourt September: USS North Carolina, HMS Queen Mary October: La Galissoniere, IJN Nagato November: DKM Graf Zeppelin, RN Zara December: HMS Lord Nelson PDN (By Commission), IJN Akizuki + Holy crap, it's been a whole year of this! At/After IRCWCC Nationals, we will re-evaluate our progress and then continue down the list. Until SJS becomes profitable enough to purchase its own deck laser cutting machine, we will be operating under a pre-order type system. When our design is finalized and the hull is ready for wooden decks to be ordered from our laser cutting vendor, we will release that hull for pre-orders so we can start printing them/assembling the kits while we wait for the laser cut decks to arrive. As always, SJS is by the hobby, for the hobby.
