Can anybody that has more experience than me, first time try actually for me using SketchUp, look it over and see what I missed if anything?

It is not complete, the ribs will be 3/16 wide, the 4 horizontal layers will be 1/8 high. One, 1 inch below the waterline, and the 3 pieces for the deck, adding up to 3/8 inch. Going to make them with different horizontal, from the outside to the inside of the hull, thicknesses to reduce topside weight.

After I break it apart I will flatten out the bow section to clean it up.

But I cannot figure out how to attach the SketchUp file here?

Put it in a .zip file and then you can load it by clicking on the "Add Images" button.

or upload it to a shared google drive file and post the link to the drive file that way someone can look and edit it for you in one place.(keep an offline copy just to be safe)

    Thanks

Looks pretty good, nice work. One thing I would add though is crossmembers for the subdeck at the deck step.

I was going to do that, after I break apart the parts, and have the individual deck/sub-deck parts laid out. I still need to draw the center 1/8 in sub-deck part also, that is where the cross member will be.

    Thanks

I was thinking about printing the ribs, but my dang 3D printer is on the fritz, the feed keeps clogging, we replaced the injectors, but the same thing is happening, new plastic also. Was thinking about varying the temp and giving that a try next.

look at the teeth on your feed extruder worn or full of plastic will do that as well. printing ribs works fine as long as you print flat to the plate just pre-design in your subdeck mating points.

Yes I have cleaned them out many times, but they just get continue to clog up, that is what the problem appears to be, they are metal, but maybe still worn out. Just not sure how to correct it. Using the 1 kilo rolls, maybe a issue of weight. My laser cutter will be here in July, once I get that hopefully these things will be easier.

Are you sure the cog isn't too loose? I had a terrible time (very similar to your experience) with my extruder till I adjusted it to tighten down harder. Now it works much better.
