Yes but even the royal navy no longer serves booze when ships are at sea but Canada still does.

Must remember Boomer you are talking the states, these guys are from Canada, different set of rules up there. Here drinking age is 21, in Canada its like 12 or 14, so you would be legal. Thats what my best friend tells my anyways, and he's from Canada, up North in Ontario, a small place called Espenosa, I think I spelled it wrong, west of Sudsbury.

It's 18 in Quebec, but from what I've heard they largely don't care what age you are. It's more of a guideline. A lot of my friends used to drive to Montreal for a drink or two some nights. Mind you, there's more in Montreal than just drinks...

I have seen the ALLIES try to hide that way, you would think they' ld learn the first six times of doing it.
ALLIES are just trying to be ostriches but they use water instead of sand.

The only thing I've had to learn about the Axis is how easily they sink.

We should all remember the Hood, she lasted all of what 8mins, but you allies only like to fight when numbers are in your favor. If the allies fought with any honor they would take the axis on equally not only when you have the advantage.

I don't think that the Axis should talk about honor when they hide in their fjords all day!

That is not true, my ship, the Graf spee, went abroad and sunk many ships, without killing a single person, and then fought three cruisers to a draw.

Trying to stay away from historical things here and keep on track with smack. The Allies fought numerous battles while outnumbered and often won. As far as Graf Spee, she sank several merchant ships and got trashed by the worst heavy cruiser ever built and a pair of light cruisers of a type that the British themselves said they'd never build another of the type.

Honestly, if the Axis were to want to use historical examples, they'd be better served looking at the Japanese. The German surface fleet really didn't accomplish much of note other then Denmark Straight, which while a tactical victory was a strategic defeat.

So, back on track with the smack...

We Allies will give you the French so you stand a fighting chance. If nothing else, they can show you how to successfully scuttle your entire fleet. The krauts couldn't even get THAT right at Scapa Flow!

Giving you the French also allows the Brits to do what they've been doing best for centuries: smashing frogs. They even managed to fit some frog-smashing into WW2.

Agreed. If you look, the French Navy fought more actions against the Americans and British then they did against the Germans!

    Viva la Vichy!

The British fleet was pounding Frenchies under the waves before the high seas fleet was a gleam in crazy willy's eyes.

I'd say hi to Nemo for you, but since you'll be down there anyways, it's probably easier to just do it yourself. After all, we don't plan to retrieve your ship for you after we sink you. Being the good sports we Allies are though, we'll hold your transmitter so it doesn't get wet!
