please, we all know that the axis are the dominant force, it's plain fact.
And screw Nemo, i can see him from the surface, too bad you cant see him from your watery grave. And the only way you would be holding the transmitter, is when, yes, when, you go axis.

The axis couldnt dominate a little old lady with broken legs, let alone an allied warship.

When, and only when, that little old lady is Chuck Norris under disguise, then even the combined fleet of the world couldnt win.

    French against the world fleet.
We don't need the allies or the axis. You on the other hand deserve each other.
What you are currently running might be ok for going up against the allies, or axis. But when the French show up to take you on, you will be needing to reconsider the weaknesses of your ship.

The only difference between a German ship and a French one is that you have to PUT the German ship on the bottom. The French start off there.

I think that the one thing axis and allies can agree on is the uselessness of the French.

After a 1,000 years of being curb stomped by the Brits and Germans, you'd think the French would have learned...

It is a natural issue, surrendering. I mean, they only did it in both world wars...

That was then. This is now.
The French are not here to re-live history. We are here to re-write it.
The French had some of the best ships in the world in the early stages world in WW2 when it comes to surface naval fighting.
I am not sure that we would be able to convince anyone here on the internet that the French ships are better than yours, but we do have an opportunity to show you in this wonderful game of R/C warship combat.
I will make sure I bring my white flag to the battles. But anyone running a non-French boat might want to bring some extra sets of panties. Just in case I am correct.

You are absolutely right, the French did have some of the best ships going. They only had one design flaw...they were (wo)manned by French (wo)men!!!!!!:laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh:

I thought I might share some good smack from the Big Gun Yahoo Discussion Group, after Kotori posted about the stern guns of the VUs we are building. It is mostly between members of the WWCC (Sparky and Joe run Iowas, Randy has a SoDak, Ben runs British ships, and I think Dan is getting one of the VUs). I have not included any of the technical discussion since it has no relation to the smack (unless you want to consider it an attempt to intimidate those allied pigs).
Joe: Did you see the boys new Battleship the Viribus Unitis. They will have it armed to the teeth. :) I can't Wait to sink it. There is always two huge things wrong with those types of ships. Speed (25 knots) and Displacement 20,000 Tons. Its so funny because they are using names like the Jaws of Death for their guns! Yesterday while I was waiting for the Iowa hull to dry I pulled down my Surcoff Sub and started to fix the small leak in the top clampdown area. Soon I hope it will be running in the pool. I'm thinking it will be the perfect match for taking down their new ship.
Sparky: That is why I love the IOWA she is big fat and forgiving
Dan: It seems to me there might be a challenge out there for the future. 4 VU's vs two Iowa classes. I will sell the tickets for that one if I am not a participant.
Me: Dan, I am looking forward to being in a battleship again. There are lots of interesting battles I foresee for these boats. All four vs the club. Two vs two. Two vs two Iowas (or other big bruisers: SoDak, Tirp, KGV?). Kotori vs me. Anyone want to give me the odds that Kotori will bounce off the bottom before I do?
Ben: This will setup an interesting tactical situation. Faster ships like the Iowa probably try to engage from longer range (and stay at longer range) to take advantage of the thinner armor of the Viribuses. But that requires more shots, and the Viribuses have very low freeboard. Interesting how this would play out. A slugfest indeed!
Me: These ships are going to be very interesting. Don't expect to see these things out on the high seas very often, they will likely stay close to shore where they can use their small size and maneuverability to get the jump on larger ships. They will also be used to either sink or force the surrender of ships that get disabled. Of course, they also have much less displacement and thinner armor than the bigger battleships, so they will suffer if they get in a bad position.
Dan: Hey Ben The 4 VUs will be the people in the wagon trains and the Iowa's the Indians going around the circled train. If history is correct, other than Custer's Last Stand, guess who wins.
Rich: Wow, was that the crack of a glove on someones cheek in challenge? Sure sounded like it.
Dan: Yep. Look at how it started. The Iowa boys talking very big. A couple of years ago Neal Anderson ran a Normandie Dreadnaught. I believe he never got sunk by these Iowa show boaters. All wind and smoke. Now Sparky's Iowa. Well I will not discuss this. I may be wrong but,Neal I believe won the most feared Captain that year.
Sparky: Let the hounds bark............... IOWA is READY
Kotori: As interesting as this all is, we've got to finish building the boats before we're ready to talk about challenges and such. At this point in time, there's still a significant chance they'll simply roll over the first time we put them in the water.
Randy: There's nothing like the smell of a sinking Commodore in the morning, I'm going to go with Gascan on this one. (in response to my question about who will sink first)
Randy: Gascan, if all the VU's look the same.......then I will need an clue as to which one the good Commodore is driving, like a little FF in his direction will do just fine.
Me: "Which 'one' the good Commodore is?" That's harsh, Randy. Rubbing salt in my wound. Is this returning the favor from when I had to stop my transport to give you a better shot? We shall satisfy honor on the pond when the time comes.
There are actually some very important distinctions between the ships. For example, Szent Istvan had only two shafts instead of four, and was never equipped with torpedo netting. Hull 4 has the best alignment in the ribs, while hull two has about 1/4" of hogging over the length of the boat. Carl got hull three, and was complaining that he had "the bad hull." You just need to be able to spot the differences at 20 feet out.
Captain Gascan (note; I missed my promotion to Commodore by 1 point, so Kotori got promoted while I didn't)
Dan: Hey! We take the ribbings from Iowa people but,South Dakota people are second class. Just second class.
