This isn't some of those horrid Allied attempts at poetry, is it? Well, it started badly, and... and it tailed off a little in the middle, and well... the less said about the end, the better.

    IT IS!! IT IS!!
Right from the Allied poetry book titled 'The Best Allied Poems...Ever!"
Apparently it took the best Allied minds years and years and years to come up with it.
Just goes to show you what happens when the Allies put their heads together, you get a coconut!!

At least the allies don't shy away from a challenge.
Finding competent axis ships and skippers to do battle with and sink is becoming a very difficult task here in Australia.
Perhaps they can't handle the heat?
Or are they hiding in the kitchen, bwahahahaha!

You see there is your problem.
You want to find Axis captains you can sink, well that ain't gonna be easy. But if you to find Axis captains who are willing to make your Allied scows do the submarine, you won't have any trouble ;) :)

I wonder why Darren is the only Allied skipper commenting on this thread? Methinks the other Allies are too busy repairing their ships ;)

    Why only me?
    I don't know.
I do know that it only takes one Allied ship to create an axis rout. Been there, done that. They were Italian though, so perhaps not such an accomplishment.
BTW, my new warship will cause even more fear in the axis ranks....when they find they cannot run away any more.

Yes, Thunderer is off the backburner, and construction has resumed.

Thunderer. Huh. I thought that's what they call my rear end whenever Allies are downrange... Yes, I'm a gas hog... :D

    Don't be ashamed!
Most axis pig-boats suffer badly with gastric wind complaints when they see an Allied ship headed towards them.
    It's part of being a weak-spined, lily-livered aemobic-dysentry riddled axis garbage scow.

The Axis are too easy to pick on. Not really much of a challenge. The Allied fleet will put you out of your misery.

I'm gone for two months, and there's some good smack here. Looks like it died off in May, though. It's just proof that the Axis are too easy to pick on. I may hear comments about Allied battleshuips rusting away as museum pieces, but I still say that's better than having them rust away in Davey Jones' Locker.

And just what do you think you're doing making me use italics to write? Last I checked, I was in charge of the glorious Axis dreadnought SMS Tegetthoff.

Not any more, egg-head. (how many of you know what egg-head means?)

Another skipper sees the light. He has thrown off the shackles of being chained to axis vessel. No longer will they have to go down with the ship. They have now joined the victorious Allied cause.

Yes, now they can scream abandon ship and be the first aboard the liferaft at the sight of a mighty Axis warship.
