just thought i shold share we have some mechanics here from germany working on a peice of equipment for warranty. i was in office here downloading some pictures of the welding being done for the file. the mechanic was standing behind me and saw the picture of the Iowa as it sits currently on my desktop. he asked me what it was. i told him, and in his broken english he told me his brother has the same hobby. built a bismark that he said was three meters long. right on par with what im constructing.
Wow, this is a small world! That is pretty neat that somebody all the way over from Germany has a brother in this hobby, and happened to find you!
