I am ready to start a new ship and need to make room. The 'DEATH' Baden is up for sale!!! Many many BOC 5 at regionals and Nats! Used at Nats in 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, Brouhaha 2010 to 2017 It will be for the hull, superstructure, cast prop, rudders, gearbox, traxxas spur gear, drive shaft, water channel. I can include more if desired like radio box with firing boards and other stuff.. just let me know. It will not be sheeted. Hull is $300 The pictures are from 2013.. so there is battle damage to the SS but not too bad. It would be easy to repair. Most of the ship is modular so the SS is held on with screws and can be taken apart for shipping. I also have a shipping box for it that I can sell with it for $65 Shipping on this in the box will probably be around 75 bucks by fedex (that is how much it was from PA to TX) Let me know if you have any questions.
Hello good evening, I am fairly new to this hobby and was directed by nick to talk to you about you possibly having a fully built ready to battle RC boat.
I could but I would have to buy them or I have a few friends that would be willing to help me and let me buy a few different parts for the boat. Why' do you have a boat you would be willing to sell?
I could add cannons but not for the price, I will keep the existing cannons as I have grown attached to them and named them. They are Butter Nugget (Bow gun), Violent Phil (stern sidemount) and Jad Vader (Haymaker.. .son of Chad Vader)
I don't go there anymore. I keep running into Tom Palmer in the lobby.. very awkward.. he has a thing for my boat.. he is afraid of it.
At the last battle they guns got into a big argument. Nugget and Phil were ganging up on Jad Vader .. calling him fat because he as 25 more bb's than the others. I told Jad Vader not to worry.. he is just long-magazined.. and he was fine. Those are some rascals those guns!! Did anyone else hear them arguing at the Brouhaha? It was so annoying.
The story of the Death Baden continues as it will be traveling North for a refit and return to terrorizing the ponds!!
Hahah funny you mention that. The ship is currently setup to run two pumps and the 'Death Y' gun setup... well beyond the 'normal' Baden setup and I have never heard of another Baden that had ever done that (prior to my doing it). It was first setup this way in 2012, new decks, new SS, new pump outlets, second pump, the whole nine yards. The ship performed very well and got me through 4 Brouhaha's and 4 Nats with only 2 sinks. In the end @ 28 seconds.. it was easier for the Allies to avoid my ship than to engage it.. I got bored. Now I am on to 24 seconds.. for life. I found the bow gun to be very effective and wanted to get a dual bow gun. If I had it do over again.. I might go with 1.5 units of pumps and two bow guns, haymaker, and stern side-mount.. my ultimate 'Death Baden' setup.. but I want 24 seconds so I no longer needed it. I am not sure what will be done to the ship, but I am sure the motor/drive train will be re-done.
