A good sink will take care of that extra heat.

Yep it will. As an aside, if this deck works out, it can be readily laser cut from either 1/8" ABS or 1/8" Wood, and fit together.

just wait for the cannons, I just have to figure out one mount point and then figure out how to make one hard part....

Now as soon as I figure out how to zero the X axis, a new part will be born.... (block is within 0.0005 inches per inch of travel along surface of 45 degrees off horizontal)

Very spiffy. If those are firing cannons, is there a stop block to keep them from elevating above the horizon?

But either way, you once again show that you are Rediculously Skilled(tm).

the screw that holds the rod in only allows zero to -~20ish degrees of elevation control due to the shape of the slot

    and thanks

They will feed BB and 3/16 (you use a different O-ring for each size). the O-ring is in the white part. Access to the screw that compresses the O-ring is behind the servo, so to access, you set the servo in the horizontal position, loosten screw, remove servo (removing linkage not necessary) and adjust screw for O-ring compression.

I just hope to get enough of it done before march because after that, there will be no boat time for a while... and a new future captain.

One of the neat things about this cannon, is that it could be made from a laser cut top and bottom part, an appropriately sized aluminum tube, and a cast or injection molded plastic to make the internal geometry (not a load bearing cast plastic). But if you had an injection molding machine and the right plastic, you could make the whole thing as a molded part.... not quite done yet, but coming along. one more of this style needs to be made and one of the single cannon style (or this style with one port plugged, which is easy to do)
