    **All kits have been sold. I have no more to sell at this time.**

    For background information and images of the kit and CAD models, please view Greg's thread here: https://rcwarshipcombat.com/threads/cad-to-kit-sms-deutschland-class.444544

    === How Do I get a Deutschland Kit? ===
    We are doing a single order. At this point we do not envision doing a repeat order unless demand is high enough at a later point. If you know you want a Deutschland kit, this is the time.

    We will accept orders starting now, and will be placing the kit-run order with the lasercutter on the morning of Feb 21 March 1 - so you will need to get your order in before then. That gives you about a month from now.

    Kit will include:
    - Full framing and decking as pictured in the above linked thread.
    - 3d printed barbettes, turret covers, and elements to construct a Deutschland superstructure. Printed parts will be ABS and PC+PBT.
    - 3d printed casemate inserts (printed in PC+PBT)
    - 3d printed topside details including full complements (+extras) of 88mm naval guns, stairways, cranes and whatever else I cook up between now and then.
    - A baggie of threaded inserts you will want.
    - Access to plans and assembly information via Greg.
    - Access to 3d part files for all printed parts, enabling you to print your own replacement parts.

    Kit price is $195 + s/h

    Shipping for a single kit within the United States will be $20
    Contact me if you want shipping estimates for non-US destinations.

    If you are planning to order multiple kits:
    I can fit 2 kits with 3d printed parts into the packaging and still keep shipping at $20.
    I might be able to fit 3 in without the printed parts and then ship the printed parts in a seperate box and keep the total shipping under $40, but I can't guarantee that until we have more than 2 kits on hand to test-fit with packaging..

    We will need a non-refundable payment of $85 per kit to reserve your kit.
    You will need to pay this before the end of Feb 28 morning of Feb 21. The balance of the kit's cost + s/h will be due when we receive the kits from the cutter and are prepared to ship them out. We estimate that will be 3 - 4 weeks from Feb 2128, so hopefully latemid-March we will be packaging them to ship to you.

    To order your kit(s):

    PM me, or email me directly at admin@rcwarshipcombat.com with how many kits you want and how you intend to pay. Pay the initial $85 per by Feb 28 21. Pay the balance + s/h when notified (or before) that kits are in and being prepared for shipment to you.

    Payment by PayPal ( admin@rcwarshipcombat.com ) or cash in my hand only please. Contact me privately if you want a kit but absolutely cannot make either of those work.

    Any proceeds from sales will benefit the upkeep costs of RCWC, encourage Greg to continue to produce neat kits, and maybe buy some decent beer.

    **All kits have been sold. I have no more to sell at this time.**

    Lol, funny you should ask. I had thought about getting some little brass plaques made. I thought it would be a fun touch.

    Seems like a good time to give a little bump with some photos from @GregMcFadden of his build progress.

    We're waiting on a shipment of updated prototype kits and it doesn't look like it'll arrive before Tuesday, so since we can't verify the kit before the current deadline, there is no point in having the deadline there.
    So new cut-off date to get your name on the order sheet! Feb 28!

    First, is it too late to order a kit
    Second - an observation that the SMS Deutschland was launched 11-19-1904, the first in her class. The rest of her class were launched after January 1905.

    Thanks everyone who ordered.
    We have placed our order with the laser cutter and we will be contacting everyone when once we have a more accurate idea on when kits will be ready for final payment and shipping out.
    Now time for me to get back to churning out parts on the printer

    Build instruction draft is complete through the wood kit build. Plan to release to the forum soon after draft review is complete. Instructions for the superstructure are pending updated component completion

    Hmm...looks like the funnel union was working unauthorized overtime. We of the Casemate Welders Collective object strenuously to this violation of our work-stoppage agreement

    Sorry I missed this. I started Schleswig-Holstein years ago. She fired the opening shots of WWII and had an extra set of casemates in the stern = more hard area!
