alas, i have only printed in blue weedwhacker nylon
though i did buy some sweet neon yellow trimmer line for my weedwhacker that would make some vibrant prints I'd bet

    hehehe
ive got some sparkly gold dope in the garage that'd go nicely with that.

I wasn't able to print with nylon at speeds and quality with consistency that I liked, so I've pretty much abandoned it for the time being. Doubt I'd try an entire SS in it.

Got my kit today. Congrats to Greg and Nick for a job very well done! I'm quite impressed with both the quality and the detail, and it was very well packaged, too. No sign of damage from shipping.

    Many thanks!

Excellent! I'm glad it made it there without incident.

2nd wave of packages (completing the shipments for everyone who has paid to date) should be going out tomorrow.

We've actually set up a subforum for build related information and questions for the kit here: https://rcwarshipcombat.com/forums/sms-deutschland-kit/
I'll have the superstructure information up this week, Greg already has hull assembly info up.

If anyone needs additional answers/photos/information please let us know.

Mine just came in today too. Probably beginning construction next week. Any recommendations for motors/props/etc?

well, they're designed for the Traxxas Villain Gearboxes, and I believe a 1.5" prop (@GregMcFadden can you confirm?). Being fast-gun I'd get a 4 or 5 blade one and shove it back there.
Then either bolt up a nice Johnson or Mabuchi 550, or a brushless motor around the 1500-2000kV range maybe (numbers off the top of my head and would vary depending on batteries used, gear ratio, etc)?
