I will be finally binding the receiver to the transmitter tommowow. I have to charge the Spektrum receiver. I am planning on using some dialectric grease on the board and then placing it in a case that will be balooned. Once balooned it will be tool dipped.

Excellent Admiral excellent.I received your lights for the PE today. Thanks. I haven't been able to get to the PE last week. My sister was hospitalized and just came back Monday. My scheduling is all over the place and I have chemo today. Plus the storm is hitting us today and apparently more nasty weather for Monday and Tues again....sigh...I was sooo close BUT NOT to worry Pe will be done. Just delayed for the time being.

Well I made it to maritime hobbies. They had no dope but I got the balsa and silkspan. I will be getting some tool dip from home hardware later this afternoon. The receiver is on charge and I hope I can bind the receiver soon.

Well the gear boxes and engines are now intalled. The engines are bolted into the gear boxes so there should be no movement.

I think I will be sheeting once the internals are completed. Next thing will be to place the pump

The pump fits nicely in front of the engines. I have been working on how to set up the internals. It looks like my throttle switch will be placed behind the motors between the shafts. My pneumatics and bottle will go up front.

The Allies want piece. A piece of the Bismark, a piece of the turpitz and pretty much a piece of the Axis fleet to test our guns on. The Axis fllet becomes the new artificial reef kings[}:)] But the build is going better. I am still debating whether to place the batteries flat or stand them up.

Flat Paul, flat. Put the Throttle switch beneath a cross brace.Mount it there. High up out of the way, easy to get too and well above the waterline.

Actually Curt The throttle switch fits in behind the engines between the two shafts on that platform I built to support the stuffing tubes. It would mean a lot less wire would be needed.

Paul what ever works, it doen't have to be pretty as long as it works. You are the Captain of a us ship they are all ugly. The british and german ships have much better lines.

The throttle servo has been installed. The engines were hooked up and the engines came to life.

The batteries did not have a lot of charge on them. The engines moved but I suspect she would have only travelled slower than a convoy vessel.

Sea trials will be dependant on the engines when I charge the batteries. I just want to know if the reason for slow performance last night was weak batteries. I will presume they were week since they have not been charged in months.

It could be Paul, or you're batteries are no good and need to be replaced, Jay needs to replace his and we are hoping that was the reason for his speed problems.
