Very simple question, do I need a solenoid for each gun? I am going to be arming a NC. Triples in the rear and opposing side mounts up front. Also what size am I looking at for needed expansion tanks?

Yes, you do need a solenoid for each firing gun. However, in the case of triples you only need one firing board to activated them. Expansion tanks: hum.... you can use one on each gun or a large one for all of them. One way valves in line can help the triples.

If I have multiple boats would it be smart to use the same solenoid for each one? Also how big of an expansion tank will I need? One way valves for where?

From a spares and troubleshooting perspective, yes. From a sanity perspective, maybe, but not strictly needed.

gas supply -> reg -> lines split to gun supplies -> one way valve -> accumulator tank -> solenoid -> gun
