    Hey Phil,

Do me a favor and triple check everything you received vs the list of items you were supposed to get listed above. I will send you some crane arms, I just wanna make sure that's all you need before I ship out anything else.

All I need is 2 boat crane arms. Might I suggest that you print a parts list for each kit order and check off the parts as they are picked for each kit and send it with kit . This should end any double parts and missing parts kits being sent out! do you have business cards? If you can send me an e-mail I will send you pictures of boat on display complete with barrage baloons. I am not going to sheet boat to show people the 3d print features.

Yep, I'm working on that exact thing. It's difficult as a single person show, my potential helpers know basically nothing about the actual ships or what the kits may or may not contain.

You can send pictures and such to info@southjerseyshipyards.com

    I don't have business cards.

    SJS Update:

Whew, its been a while since I did an update on here! For the latest news, check out the discord channel where I'm much more active.

NATS kicked butt, SJS got a lot of business, which allowed me to expand in a number of key areas:

    We now have solenoid valves.
We have 5oz tanks that are not yet available.
Our new XT30 plug and play pre-waterproof gun boards were a huge success and are now on the website

New hulls are available on the website:

RMS Empress of Britan (Convoy ocean liner)
    USS Baltimore
    USS Pennsylvania (As-built)
USS Texas is out of pre-order and now in-stock
SMS Mackensen is ready provided it passes the rules ballot

Soon to be arriving on the website:

Amish Skunkworks sub-page of curated parts provided by @Beaver including lasercut copper bus bar kits and waterjet cut 3/16 7075 belt drive motor mount kits.

Email me at wtustin@southjerseyshipyards.com for any inquiries.

    Hi all, small update broadcast:

This past weekend marks the final weekend in a 2 month sprint of life stuff every single moment that I wasn't at work.

Free time will start to free up and I know I have some orders that have been waiting a little too long that need to go out.

I appreciate your continued support and understanding, I am scheduling all of this evening to fulfilling some orders and hope to have at least 3 on the porch for UPS pickup tomorrow. Possibly 4.

We received the deck kits for Mackensen, Texas, and EoB and they are now in-stock and no longer on presale. At this time the SJS kit backlog is looking like right at 4 weeks if an order was placed today, but it could always speed up pending the results of the next week or so of me getting caught up.

    Hi All!

We've been getting back on track with fulfilling kit orders under our normal 4 week lead time. Right now there are a bunch of kits all waiting on 5mm prop shaft bronze oilite bushings which should be here tomorrow.

SJS will be releasing 3 new kits before the end of November:

Nagato (this is a battle-scale hull, with some liberties taken for ease of life in regards to sheeting, etc.)
    South Carolina
    Bellerophon

If you want a kit under the christmas tree, the deadline to order is November 22nd. If you want to pre-order one of the above 3 unreleased kits for a pre-christmas delivery, please contact me privately via PM or email at wtustin@southjerseyshipyards.com so I can prioritize appropriately.

    Thanks all,
    -WT

    Hello All,

Combat-Scale Nagato, Bellerophon, and South Carolina are available on the website for pre-sale. These kits are all mostly finished pending final superstructure work, but that won't stop us from starting to produce the hulls themselves which are always the longest print time item. If you order one of these kits with decks, they won't ship out until we get the decks from our laser cutting supplier. HOWEVER, ask us about our new prototype ASA plastic decks and we can include those decks instead!

The Nagato hull is advertised as "Combat-Scale" because some liberties have been taken, within the allowable deviation in IRCWCC rules, to make the hull easier to sheet and also easier to live with long term. Some smoothing of sharp bulge edges has been done, along with some simplification of casemate deck + bulge interaction. The aircraft crane bulge has also been removed. We plan on releasing a more true-scale hull later on, if the demand exists, but it will be even worse than our Malaya kit when it comes to actually sheeting it.

Just a reminder, the deadline for Christmas orders is THIS FRIDAY NOVEMBER 22ND!

    URGENT UPDATE!

Due to economic factors, the price of my solenoids is going to have to go up. My distributor has raised the price by almost 30%. Right now I can place an order for my normal 60 qty restock with only raising the cost to you guys to $40 per solenoid from 35. If you need solenoids, order them this weekend! This is a pre sale to get the lower price before the distributor price increase at the end of March forces me to raise them to $48 each. I try my best to help everyone and the hobby with this kinda stuff, you've all asked a bunch over the last few months/weeks for solenoids so nows the time! We only have until Monday or Tuesday to get enough orders to buy the full 60 count!

    **News broadcast:**

SJS is going to switch to a primary "Two releases a year" schedule. Last year we tried to release a few hulls every other month, and we beat ourselves up trying to maintain that pace. Now with wives and real lives its time to slow down a little bit...but that doesn't mean we're gonna be "slowing down". SJS's ultimate goal is to eventually provide every nation, every class, every hull of ship 5,000 tons and greater that is "actually useful" for IRCWCC. We already have TWENTY NINE hulls on offer! Our plan going forward is to release new ships either "Before NATS" or "Before Christmas". These releases will be at minimum 4 hulls, but may be more than that depending on what we feel like.

The prototype ABS printed decks have also been very well received by those who have gotten them. For all future launches, we are planning on going with ABS decks right from the start! Lasercut decks can still be had on a special order basis.

To recap, since SJS's launch in July of 2023, our hull catalog has grown from our initial launch hulls:

    Von Der Tann
    Invincible
    Suffren
    Malaya

    To include all of these:

    Tiger
    Mackensen
    Blucher
    Deutschland Cruiser
    Fargo
    Cleveland
    Tennesee ACR
    Pensacola
    Baltimore
    Oregon City
    WW1 Wyoming
    1920 South Dakota
    Kaiser
    Erin
    WW2 Texas
    WW1 Pennsylvania
    South Carolina
    Bellerophon
    Nagato/Mutsu
    Langley
    Wasp
    LST
    Victory
    Empress of Britain
    Midway

As always, SJS is by the hobby, for the hobby. If you have a specific ship that you *really* want. Something you will absolutely build and battle (because we LOVE seeing them out there!) let me know and we will see about sticking it into the release schedule where we can. Our current, tentative, "Before NATS" release hulls include:

Essex (Long and Short hulled variants)
    WW2 Renown
    RN Zara

I have a few potentials to add to these 3...let me know if you're interested in one of these potential options...maybe we can make your hull happen??

    1945 WeeVee
    Late-War Enterprise
    HMS Queen Mary (WW1 BC)
    Iowa

Also, the solenoids have been ordered and we will update all pre-order customers when they arrive here.

    SPEAKING OF BLUCHER

    (Horse Whinnying noises)

the SJS Flight I Blucher is a winner.

if you're ABS-curious, it has excellent handling characteristics that'd make it a great, simple beginner boat and also a total knife-fighting savage when the captain displays even a semblance of competence.

though on a concerning/amusing note, the boat will randomly say funny-sounding stuff in German, like "Wachteln vor mir, denn ich bin dein Ende!!", "Ich bin die gepanzerte Faust des Kaisers" and "ich bist kleinen Krokodil"

We wanted to run some kind of discount to hype people up for NATS. We had some ideas.

    Discount the biggest convoy ships

Combo discount a cruiser and a convoy ship

    Discount the more competitive battleships

We couldn't pick one, so you get ALL THREE!

owmyback is good for 10% off Empress of Britain, Midway, and Wasp. (Midway is an extended lead time item, please email)

itried is good for 10% off a cruiser AND a convoy if purchased together.

itrytoohard is good for 15% off our HMS Malaya and 1920 South Dakota class ship kits, two popular large sidemount battleships!

These discounts are combo-able with the normal ship kit combo discount which takes $5 off a kit for every qualifying internal component. We need to restock on Hobbywing products, if you need ESC's for your kit that we don't have, shoot me an email and I will make sure you get your discount retroactively!
