Those 1250kv inrunners - is that on 6V? Direct drive??? If so, what/where, do you have a link?

Setup for 3S LiFePO4 battery packs (9.6V nominal) this is how I have my VDT drive setup.

Drive Motors : Turnigy 3648-1450 Outrunners (probably can't get these exact motors but i'm sure there are similar options with a little searching.

Obviously a geared setup, I run 32pitch gears, 12 tooth on the motor and a 28 tooth on the propshaft. (I had trouble with that 28th tooth plastic gear in my Bismarck but it's worked fine here, less load on the teeth so they hold up better.)

9.6V*1450KV=~13920 Motor RPM which gets geared down to ~6000 MAX propshaft RPM, but it doesn't run at MAX throttle. I dont have tach data on what it actually spins running at speed.

Props: 1.5" Dia 4 Blade PropShop Kort Props. They look a tad smaller than 1.5" in the picture but that's what the email says I ordered... Before I started designing my own of course. ;-)

These rudders aren't so great, I wouldn't copy the rudder shape. But I like this photo.

Evan are you going to run that boat as 4s LiPO or something? that 880 ESC is a BEAST. that's what I ran in the 4s cruiser this year and what I'm going to install in Idaho during the major refit this winter

cool yeah buddy 3s will work great.

but when you're ready, 4s is glorious. splendid. remember when I was doing that "DREAD NOUGHT, MY CHILDREN!!!" maneuver during campaign and I took like, monster damage?

I had a one dollar chinese knockoff 380 motor running that pump and it was doing similar performance to a 380 stinger because I had it running 4s

obvs want to get a better motor when you do that, but still. that motor was doing stupid amounts of water evacuation.
