Axis: Bill Byrnes, Jeff Lipp, Spuds, Christopher Koehler, and Matt Buas.
Allies: Brian Koehler, vonTugboat, Stefan Minton, possibly Pete Dimitri if his wife lets go of the leash :)

Maybe a few others that I missed. Maybe one of the Bitondo brothers.

shima will not be comming. just burned out a motor and have no spares. kongo is on track to be there - some SS missing. as long as i don't burn out another motor for it... i do have spares for that one however.

Kotori and I will try to show up, but he may end up on shift work over the weekend instead. If we make it, he'll have the Z-boat. I have a Tashkent with the same armament, but I have a bit of plumbing to do and may need to swap motors to get it up to speed.

not going to make it at all now. current build plan leaves me doing sheeting thursday night and first water test friday. little bit of a drive for me to make it to this event and not have my own boat to play with. will just build the rostock max and get it printing out some parts so i can fit the kongo out properly for may.

First day was a blast! Several sinks (Bill Byrnes, Christopher Koehler, someone else I forget who), and Evstafi got into the fight and did very well, especially for a first battle after a complete rebuild. Nicely balanced, turns well and hard to pin down. Being a predread, she totally submarines while running the 100' course. Most entertaining to watch. Spudsy's von der Tann got in the water for testing and did well.

Almost everyone was battling, but someone got some pics. I'll bug Brian K to get them from him.

It's always the way, the best battles don't get recorded as everyone is actually battling.
