Imperial German spies have reported developments to our South! The Swiss (!!) are preparing to launch their 1st ocean-capable warship. And it's a BATTLESHIP!

The warship, bearing the designation "CHS" for Confoederatio Helvetica Schiff, is currently being assembled in the Spudwerks Naval Shipyard & Beirstube (SNSB).

CHS Ulrich von Lichtenstein may very well be the first SF ship to take to the water

    Further information pending....

    Update!

Information released by the Swiss government, coupled with reports from spies & technical experts, caused much hue and cry regarding the design of this fearsome weapon of war. Ironically, the "Rules of Warfare" convention held in Geneva itself gave rise to the greatest point of contention. As a result, SNSB has been forced to modify their design, removing the underwater portion of their bow.

Another report from our spies technical observers:
Work continued on the turret designs for the BB, with a modernist "oscillating turret" design being rejected initially, followed by a design very close in appearance to a Tiger tank's (Pzkw VI ausf. E) and another best described as the "Tuna can" (see USS Monitor).
Designers are favoring the Tiger tank pattern, but final details remain to be resolved.....
