Lots of work to do, this will not be a quick rebuild.

So do I go with 3/8th ribs or 1/4? Thoughts?

1/4", smaller unsupported sections, ribs stop rips and Rams.

In the end it probably isn't a big deal either way.

Weather deck question. Would basically the white part be considered superstructure (I believe so but would like some others to chime in)

Going to stay with wood (that is what she currently has), is there a place to get decent 5 or 7 ply sheets?

White is SS, use 1/4", Lowe's/Home Depot plywood will do, it's a convoy ship. Just seal it well.

Yep. I am sure it served its purpose, but everything is failing. If I had to guess, maybe the thought was just fix the issues as they pop up- the boat doesn't see a lot of water time.
There is not a lot to save, but I will use the hull as a plug. Superstructure to be vac-u-cast so that will be fun.

I am really sorry that the ship arrived damaged! I really thought I had packed it well; guess not. Someone asked how much to ship across the country? $160 if I recall, much of which came out of the sale price. Mostly my fault, because I refused to cut the ship in half, which would have more than cut the shipping cost in half. UPS was the only one that would touch it and wanted the box framed, which added a lot of weight and cost. I look forward to seeing the rebuild pictures.

No worries Gary, it did get tossed around but I was expecting some damage.
