Thanks guys for the nice compliments. That detail has been there since 1999 and earlier for some of the detail. It really is shot up bad. I haven't addressed it yet and I may not as it is the battle scars and wounds of battles past. It adds character to the model. I am cleaning it up with repairs here and there but not like the overall I did to it back in 1997/98.Still more to do but this is just to give you an idea how far I progressed with the ole guy.

I fiished scribing in the remainder of the deck planks. I started adding the Swastika to the bow banner. The wooden radio box is soaked with marine resin and is nearly dry.

Swastikas are done and I cleaned up the barbette opening for Turret Dora. Just need to install the barbette and seal it in . The radio box is sealed with resin except for the outside bottom. Too cold today to complete it.

Completed the final sealing of the radio box bottom and went over the sides again and inside. It's dry now so now the fun part of installing the servos and pneumatics is next. The hull is finsihed for painting along with the Superstructure, deck and all armament. The Camaflauge stripes are done . Time for the internals ie the Motor and electronics to be installed. The barbette inner plates are ready for cutting so once done will be installed. This will allow me to mount the cannons easily and securly. So far so good.

Great Paul. When Ready I can pack up the Tennessee. I still have the box that the HULLS ralph sent up so I can ship in that box. BTW Loved the video from this years Nats. PE performed good but you got to be a sailor and not a shore hugger. Get that ship out to sea!! The 2nd disk had no audio sound. The night battle was fun to watch. I had to keep from busting watching you retrieve the PE.. sorry but it couldn't be helped. What happened there? Last I saw an IOWA class pulled up along side of PE then next thing you know I saw the PE's bow going vertical. Great video!!

It was debris clogged the main pump outlet. i did not take a lot of damage. I was hanging around the swarm. Also there was a deep drop off not that far out from shore.
