Good to hear, you should of seen the first wood hull I tried to make, used a set of Golff plans, the ribs were not even close, but I did not check them before I cut them out and tried to assemble it. Went right into the trash, lol.

    Hey Everyone,

Well cleaning out the basement I stumbled on this old warship. Been working on the hard area of suffren for the last week.

Right now, not really doing the bottom section. Then planning on moving superstructure.

Need to get electronics and cannons.

Working on blocking out the bottom. Having some difficulty with the stern, getting the 1/4" balsa blocks to fit. Worked on the superstructure this weekend made some nice progress.

    Systems
Hull - need to figure out sheeting.
Propulsion- I have stuff to make props, stuffing tunes and rudder. Including one motor and service
Control system - need battery, charger, Controller system.
Canons have nothing. May run with no guns for a bit.
Ballast - got several pounds of lead if needed

    Quick update.

Got the balsa blocks in and finishing the sanding on the ship.

Still have to fill in the bow.
Fixed the bowing in the keel, but the bow has drift about a 1/4 from the center line at the keel.

I'm thinking to fix this is to make two cuts in the balsa blocks three ribs down from the bow. on one side placing a shim and trying to close the cut on the opposite site.
