Yep. I ran into that with the search light platform on the aft tower. I ended up recreating that geometry. Lots of intersecting curves and sweeps! The one on the aft funnel was simpler but, also needed to be rebuilt. If enough people are interested, I could tackle fixing those issues on the 10 parts of the bridge.

Need to practice better CM there, no doubt.

FYI, I've got all these files versioned in a git repository.
It does help recover from mistakes.
    Don't ask how I know that ;)

Thanks to @Iunnrais and the files he shared, I was able to hollow out the main turret cad model and print a shell. I think it came out pretty well : )

The printed main turrets seem to be designed for a Barbette with a 3.6" OD. Do you want "sleeves" to go over them and make up the difference?

Roma has some chonky barbettes. My Profile Morski plans (Roma 1943) have them at 3.7" dia when pulled into my design program and scaled to the proper shiplength. I should check in my Bagnasco & de Toro book to see what they list.

I'm working on hollowing out the AA version of the main turret. That one is a little trickier.

I hollowed out the secondary turrets and simplified them to use 1/8" dowels as the barrels.
The pic, below, is the CAD model, the first physical part is printing now.

The print of the secondary turret came out pretty well. It needs a couple of tweaks for easier cleanup but, I'm pretty happy with it.

I recreated the geometry for the Anti-Aircraft gun tub that goes on top of the forward 152mm/55 turrets to make the curved parts higher resolution and eliminate the undercuts to allow it to print as one piece.
I also added insets for future blast bags but, I left out the shell ejector tubes, for now.
Here's the updated CAD model :
