I think what Bob is trying to say is we are _NOT_ to far for you folks in KY and GA to drive up and battle :)

This is an awesome event. Plus home of what is probably some of the the best battle chow in the country.

Disclaimer: The best dining experience over a battle weekend is the Brouhaha hands down. Po-boy's the size of a human head, Sleazy lounge act at the mexican joint, Gerald grill'n up deer sausage...yum. The single best meal on the road I have ever had, however, is in Farmington, that 16 oz pork steak at the BBQ joint we go to every year is worth the trip alone.

    Banzai!

Hmmm, only a 13 hour drive... Still closer than battles in KY & GA.

Chase 13 hours is nothing. You have to use the travel math rule to see if the trip is worth it. C+S>=T. That's captains + sorties .+ travel time.
For the Tangler it's 14+14 >=26. So you have to go, the math works.

Bob, you forgot the Admiral factor in there, along with weekend chores. Hate to bring it up, but it's a very valid part of the equation.

Chase lives in Canada. He drives to Georgia for battles. That's how awesome he is.

About a half hour north of Toronto, Ontario. And I was mistaken, only GA battles are further, KY would actually be closer if there were any major events there.

We are working that issue... and should have a battle or two after NATS this year someplace around Louisville or Lexington.
