We got the radios and they are in the mail as we speak. Shipped today and we should have them in about 10 days. We got them for $140 plus $40 for shipping. It was djranier who is selling them.

Alot of people use them in the MWC, so they should work fine for you. I turned them on, just to see what happened, and they both powered right up, with the factory charge on the batteries, and they have been sitting in my garage for at least 18 months, so odds are the batteries are fine also. They are both 8 channel radio's, with 8 channel receivers. They are synthisised radio's, so you can change them to any 75 meg frequency on the fly, they do not require crystals.
As I said before I also have the 2.4 ghz radio's, and just wanted to keep everything the same. Thats the reason I was selling these, they have never been used, still in the box.

I hope they work great for you, and the 2 of you sink all the Allieds. [:D]

I guess I was not as close as I thought. Had to cut a bigger hatch in the middle, so now I know I have enough access (right Craig, lol). There is also a big list of other things thatI still need, mostly cannon stuff.

You are a lot closer than you think. Get your rudder and engines fixed up... Your tray is ready and water channelling.... then you can at least take her out for a spin... ten years waiting... why wait any more! Then guns and such. You are there Chuck. Just a few more steps.

I think sailing is out of the question. Unless a way to get batteries isn't. Then we can at least sail, both Chris and I. Transport becomes our next issue. I think First Lake is looking very promising for Sunday.

Again providing there is power and a way to get there.... hmmmmmmm the good ole days. Throw NC or Bis in the back of the wagon and go! I think we are just gonna get together either here or at Jay's maybe. Depends on what the Captains want to do. Isn't it mother's day? I'll leave it up to the others to finger it out.
