Mikey, that is absolutely gorgeous! Love the deck scribing and the small boats. :)

I got the boats from Battler's Connection. They are foam, and really great. I ordered one of each just to check them out. I need to order more. The British will be needing lots of boats in order to save as many Germans as possible after we sink the Bismarck.

As far as the scribe-decking goes. I have always wanted to give that a try, but in the past I was always building ships that
were scheduled for combat events that made me feel like I didn't have the time to invest in the decks, or I got stuck in other
areas of the build, and got myself behind schedule. This build is the same way, but I have been wanting to build this ship for
many years, and now that I have actually commited myself to doing it, I refuse to skip some of the cool stuff that I have skipped
in the past, just because I have gotten myself behind schedule. Which is exactly what I have done again. I now have only 4 weeks
till the Denmark Straits event, and I am working on making my favorite ship of all time look better than all of my past ships.
I will of course look pretty silly, if I show up with a great looking ship that is not ready for combat.
So now I am trying to balance things so that she still looks good, but is also ready to take on the Germans.

the scribing only takes a few hours once you get it down but you can also cheat and by a piece all ready done with true cuts I have a local store that makes and caries actually scale wood floor ( Doll House stuff i believe)and it is I believe 1/16 thick so make adjustments with a planer or sand and glue on looks sweet might try this my self next time drawing and cutting them gets mind-numbing

I had been told about the doll house places having the decking stuff, but had forgotten that it was the doll house places, and was thinking it was the train shops.
    Interesting.

You should have asked one of our German captains Mikey. I'm sure they are familiar with doll accessories!
