Personally, I use the Traxxas waterproof servos and have yet to have one fail in five+ years of battling. The only additional waterproofing I do is to remove the top case and squirt (not pack!) lithium grease in the gear set just in case. :)

I've had half a dozen fail. Almost all involve sinking in one particular pond. The pots seem to be the most common fail point for me, have had all kinds of sludge pour out of the cases and the boards and motors are still operable.

Got my birth certificate yesterday. Heading to dmv today to get my cdl back. Should be heading to a new job by next week. Looks like I have a local job with a 1 hour commute but will have to fly to Michigan for the orientation. Any members up there?

already have one in the derf. now that its sat a few months after the last battle, during which it performed without incident, I should fire it up and see if it still works. Same battle killed the new traxxas I put in the Westfail (worked day of, re-tested before i returned it to Phil the other week and its dead)

With the driver shortfall, thinking you should be able to. Harder though is finding a good one. Good luck!

Went to the occupational health place yesterday, got that out of the way. On the way home I went by the local shooting range as it's on the way, shot my 50 cal muzzle loader for the first time. I like it, it shoots good, lite recoil and the gun fits me well enough. I would like to get a raised cheek piece for it though as the stock is a bit low for my eye to line up naturally with the sights. I will say the feral hogs around here are in BIG TROUBL! lol.

Been busy with work, things are going great. Got today off due to weather. Feels good to be working again after four months of sitting idle.

New job didn't work out. Money was about 50% what they said it would be and trucks were total junk. Start back over the road on Monday. This will make it possible for me to go to many more battles while getting paid to travel to and from, lol.
