Thust Testing

    Just read thru your fascinating tech article. Had to put in my 2-cents :p
    How would you rate the efficiency of this?

    Note that's a "Yamato" 2.25" prop, driven by a geared "olde-school" 550 can at 6V
    Like the hot-rodders say: "There's no replacement for displacement"

    Yep, you gotta love the efficiency of the bigger props. On the 96 scale Hood a single 2" prop, driven by a 35mm brushless, was enough thrust to propel its 100+ pounds to speed.
