    Hey all

looking for plans for the USS Ticonderoga CVA-14 1/144 scale. Looking to build one in the future for a convoy ship for NATs. My father served in the shop during Vietnam and I wanted to build it because I love the ship and I’ll have my NJ to go with it which will be cool. If anyone can point me in the right direction or if anyone has plans they can send me that would be much appreciated.

    thanks all,
    Justin R

Im pretty sure Tico was an ESSEX class carrier, strike models used to have that, I fired an email to Steve to let him know you are looking for them. He used to have both Goff(1 sheet) and Ed Wiswesser(2 sheets) Plans

You are correct is was a ESSEX class carrier. I didn’t think to try and reach out to them. If I could get a set of plans that would be excellent. Thank you for reaching out to him.

    thank you Lou,

unfortunately there were two types of Essex hulls a short one and a long one the Ticonderoga was I believe the first of the long hull Essex carriers so the Hornet is a short hulled carrier sadly.
