I just assumed that it was being set up for NABS as the thread is here.
The reason I asked about how you planned to set up the cannons, is that with the 7 unit ships that have 4 turrets, I am hoping to hear that someone will eventually have some bow cannons.
Not that I think they are more effective than stern cannons. But as you almost never see bow cannons in combat, and therefore nobody expects you to have them, then having them to surprise opponents might be pretty cool.
    Never hurts to ask.

I have always liked seeing the class out on the water. I never really seriously considered building one myself, but I do hope that some more will be built and battled.
Adds a nice touch to the battles.

John its the lack of the stubby range finders that were on all 4 turrets. the turrets you have are missing them. I sold my Tirpitz a while ago froggy and it had a single bow gun which was a great chase cannon that could hit about 10 feet out. It was my favorite gun.

Parts from Strike models have been ordered to finish the detail on tirpitz, as well as the full SS and turrets for lutzow which is all ready to go and be tested.

Hi Guys: With the order for the Lutzow from Strike, I also recieved the parts to finish the Tirpitz. I ordered the AA turrets and the Mains, Most of the ship is done and works well Its will be battle ready soon and be ready for the Shearwater show in April. I had to replace the large 1/4 scale servo for the rudders ( kept bending rods ) with one of the new water proof ones from rc wings and wheels. Tried putting it in a bowl of water and it works great.

    Hi John,
Glad to hear Turpitz is almost ready, she worked very well last fall and am looking forward to running with another German capital ship, it has been too long.
If you send me some pics, I will post them.
