Titebond III

    Is Titebond III a suitable glue for luan plywood/balsa ribs.

    Hmm.... personally, I go for waterproof epoxies. Glues that say 'water resistant' on them will tend to come undone sooner or later. I had some Titebond III sitting around (reallly, I had to do some fix-it around the house), but dang if I can find it at 5:45 in the morning, so I can't look at it to see what it says on the bottle/tube thingy. (I'm still pre-coffee, too)

    I don't know about Titebond III, but we build rc sailboats using Titebond II. Both the interior and exterior are coated with epoxy before launch.

    Tropicalness? Your sending me on a cruise!!!!!!!!

    No really, if you can get your hands on west system epoxy, youll be in a good position. Im buying their new product called Six10, which is regular epoxy, except it is in a grease gun tube and mixes in a "mixing wand" for you. And its only like $20. I cant wait!
