Of interest for the Shinano fans, I recently found a review for a model here:

    http://www.ipmsusa2.org/Reviews/Kits/Ships/Revell_1200_Shinano/Revell_1200_Shinano.htm

While the review in and of itself is of little interest, information on the colors of the ship might be. Particularly the PINK flight deck. Needless to say, I was a little bit surprised. I'm not sure how good the information on that was, but it's certainly interesting to read!

I like the two tone green camo scheme, but the pink deck is a little odd.

I agree with you Bob. I don't care how historically accurate it may (or may not) have been...I won't be having any ships with pink anything.

Now that I've said that of course, I will probably find a girlfriend who wants an HMS Kenya (aka the Pink Lady) painted in her 1942 Mountbatten Pink camo.

Mountbatten pink is okay. It's really gray with a slight purplish hue.
