Phil, Mark, and Bat were able to drop in at my build-session yesterday to work on boats, watch movies, and chat up the boats.
I was working on the Battlestations P.E.. Mark was working on the USS Alaska, a Golo, and some electronics stuff. Phil was refitting
    his Iron Duke.
Bat brought over one of his new projects, which also happens to be one of my favorite boats.

A Strikemodels La Galissonniere French light cruiser kit.
One of the most fun boats that I have ever ran.
And pleasing to the eyes as well.
Bat is doing a great job on this project.

IS that Seydlitz a fiberglass hull? Who's making that one? Great looking boats!

Mark was making them, but I'm not sure if he still does.

I do have just a few of the laser cut doors left. They are $5 plus shipping. When these are gone, I don't plan to have more cut, since I'm changing to 3D printed parts for my accessories. Send me a PM if you are interested.

Sorry for the slow reply about the Seydlitz. I missed that.
It is indeed a fiberglass hull. Bat got it from the Tuttles out in the IRC.
They were produced by Ralph up in Canada.
    Very nice work.
Last I heard, they still had one or two extra hulls possibly for sale.

If I remember correctly Ralph Coles was commissioned by the younger Tuttle to produce a mould for the Seydlitz hull around 2004-2005. He sold the mould and 4-5 completed hulls, keeping one for himself. I think he did that project while living in British Columbia for about a year. I never heard of the Tuttles producing more Seydlitz hulls from the mould.
