The old Jean Bart, and a new French battleship under construction.
Not sure if it will be a Richelieu,or a new Jean Bart.

Mikey, I can't wait to run my Vittorio Veneto against the Frenchy.
    The forward subdeck is in.

I need to work on my scuttling device.
It didin't work last time I ran her.
Now all I need for the superstructure is some egg-Mcmuffin boxes.

The hulls were the same. Well. That is, until the Jean Bart was bulged after the war.
And the superstructures were pretty much the same as well. Until the Bart was finished after the war.
Then she got a new up-to-date anti-aircraft outfit, and the superstructure was quite different then.
    A very interesting looking ship.
Eventually, I would like to build the bulged Jean Bart. It would certainly be a great looking ship with all
of the anti-aircraft cannons on the sides.
My first two Jean Barts were as designed versions.
Clean lines, and un-cluttered decks pretty much.

I am looking forward to that build. But it will have to wait for now.
Oh well. They say that good things come to those that wait.

Frank brought over his brand new Kongo yesterday.
It has the new sub-deck kit from Strikemodels.
    Very nice indeed.
