    Are they similar in design to the electric motors the old New Mexico's?

    Seems likely. The basic deisgn was unchanged for a loooong time. I could pick out identical equipment in the ER of USS Yortown (also a steamship like my sub). Working on a new item, will post shortly.

    Okay, for sure this time... what was the colloquial name for the type of aiming system used on the Takao class cruisers?
