I won't be using the team delta card. I just was using the diagram to make sure I had the wiring correct.

Everything else I have diagrams the throttle switch but is hazy on the motors. I just wabt to be sure before I start soldering. After all I dont need a fire, So what type of wire do you use and where did you obtain it. I have some 18 guage automotive wire as well the wire battlers sent.

I use 14 gauge. 18 gauge is fine. I actually used 18 gauge in Bismrack originally. Little more flexible but the 14 gauge is great for heavier ships and larger motors .

Where did you find your 14 guage wire Curt. I have not been able to find any single strand 14 guage wire.

Crappy tire is all out. I think I will just go with the 18 guage.

    Extension cord wire..
Try to stick with 14, 18 is a bit light and you want stranded wire, not solid for flexibility

Paul there are several crappy tires. Go there and get the 14 gauge. They can't be all out. Try the "Source" they sell it also.

I have "finally" obtained teh 14 guage wire. It only took visits to % crappy tire stores, 3 The Source and a visit to Princess Auto. Now I can start wiring the boat.

Geez 5 Canadian tire stores. It was they had no wire or they didnt have 14 guage. The source was useless. You are lucky if they have any wire. Cables yes, wire not so much.

IT'S ALIVE!!!! IT'S ALIVE!!!!!!!! Well this evening saw the throttle switch and engines wired. ITS ALIVE!!!!! I ran the engines for a few minutes in either direction.. It was good to hear the engines roar. the gears ran well. Next step it to create a battery harness that wires in the pump..

Plumbing will have to wait slightly. The next steps will be to get the main deck installed. Once done then cut the holes for the barbettes. I still have to order a 75 rd cannon.

The cannon order will be going out soon. I am not sure whether to order a straight mag or coil.

I would think a ship like that could go etheir or. If it's for dual sterns than a straight. If it is a coil than that could work also. What Turret do you need it for?

If for B barbette I would go with a coil. If for A coil as well.
