I am thinking of the 75 as an upfront side mount and all my 50's in the stern.

More progress today. The barbettes were installed. Hopefully I can start installing cannons so I can get a good location for the pump.

Thanks Curt. This build is so much better than the sodak. Just like night and day. I just ordered the 75 rd coil cannon it will be going up front. Now that I know where the stern cannons sit, I can now place the pump. The pump will be between the two motors.

Well good news. the 75 rd coil cannon has been shipped. So I expect to arrive within 2 weeks. Tommorow's plan is to wire up the battery, Install the pump, build level 1 of the superstructure

Paul you can balsa blocks of assorted sizes and shapes. You can use just Foam for example the rubber floor mats that interlock. You could use that to make the lower 01 level and some of the upper levels and use balsa block to make the tower and funnel and the rear superstructure. With 7 weeks to go Paul I would get the basic shapes in place . You could use the pink insulation foam pieces too but the matts are far cheaper and easier to work with and lightweight.
