    Your plans quite literally say:
    "Port arrangement as ships would have probably appeared by 1946"
    And
    "Starboard arrangement as originally designed"

    thank you, i will be continue on the hull, no point arguing over the structure of a ship that wasn’t built and plan on continueing on the top half after the hull

    She's a monster alright, and I thought my wooden Jean Bart was a huge project.

    Yes fibre glassing progress all complete just sanding and paneling to do

    When I received my Montana kit I was confused with the plan and the foam rubber large piece of the 01 level . I noticed it did not match the as original layout but it matched the post modernization. I did not want to waste such a huge piece so I used it instead. It did present some problems but I was able to work it out. In the Ohio build thread the captain there built a wood version of the as original plan version so it worked out well there too. Looking back I would have went with the as original. My verison is somewhat in between the two versions. The port side is the post modern version and the starboard is the as is version. What ever way you do it it Montana is a beautiful ship in all of its possible variations.
