For sale USS North Carolina. This is a BC hull kit. This ship was built by Charlie Stephans in 2003 and used by his brother Tony for 2-3 years. It was sold and sold again to Ron H in MN in 08. Ron used the ship at NATS 08, 09, 10, 11 & 14 and at local and regional battles. I would not consider it heavily used. The hull is in good shape, not a lot of bb chips in the gel coat. The deck and wiring are in good shape. The main parts of super structure are made of fiberglass and bb proof. There are minor parts, like the splinter shields that are not so bb proof. The ship comes with items shown in the photos: bottle, regulator, Team Delta board for guns, pump and drive. I don't think Ron is including the radio or receiver. The props are BC 1.75" 4 blade. Then guns are like the normal BC guns, but the breaches are stainless steel. Charlie also made a couple other custom upgrades to them. Cost for the ship is $1,000, plus shipping. It is possible the PPB crew can deliver it on a trip to a battle. Ron does not check this site often, if at all. I will pass on serious offers as they come in. Sale preference will be given to locals and people Ron feels will get the most use out of the ship.
It's a heck of a deal when you figure that half of the purchase price is represented in just the Kips and guns, to say nothing of having them already mounted and plumbed...
What's the price of this if still available? Is there any major work that needs to be done to get her up to battle-shape?
