I will have more touch ups to do and get it cleaned up. But so far I am happy with how it is turning out so far. I am currently working on the superstructure.
I am officially jealous of you sheeting and silkspannng abilities. Mine always looks like garbage. It would probably help if I could go 10 minutes without my silkspan ending up under something heavy or folded away in a corner. Outstanding work as always Curt!
Finished the internal armour. I used a double layer of bathroom tub mat. Used foam floor mats to secure it. Used the same mats to filll the voids in the bow and stern. I started working on the superstructure. Messed up the 2 funnels but no problem I can make more. I have the armoured conning tower attached and most of the levels attached. The deck gun tubs have floors now. I put bases on the bottoms of the secondary turrets. Drilled out the bilge pump exit hole through the main deck and cross brace. Fits llike a glove and inconspicous. .
