Took NC outside to see how it looks in natural daylight as opposed to shed lighting.

Made the stern crane. Not perfect but it will do for now.

Started work on the seaplanes. Making them from scratch. After that a couple more deck details and then sand the superstructure of the putty areas. Once that is done I can begin to paint the entire upperworks and deck. Then I can attach the anchors and chains rigging and flags. Then.... I can finally get back to the interior and complete the electrical wiring of the motors, pump and switches.

Looks like a gear at the base of the crane, will it rotate and pick up planes too. Actually a great looking ship, along with the rest of your fleet.

Hey Skippy yeah that's a gear alright and yes it does rotate and tilt to pick up the planes.

The weather was great today and I was off from work. So it was a good opportunity to get primer coat paint on the main deck and upper works of the superstructure today so that I can see the imperfections blemishes and blah screwups and get those fixed before I start the Camo measure scheme on the deck running up the superstructure.

The hull with the deck removed for base coat primer painting.

The main deck hatch removed. I am pleased how the AA rows of 20 mm single mounts stayed on and are part of the hatch system.

The superstructure minus the funnels and 5 inch secondary guns. Not fully sanded yet of putty in areas but can do that after the paint goes on.
