love watching you work, I think I definitely have some sort of boat envy going on here, Your new logo when the time comes needs to say: "SPUDWERKS... Supplying All The Wood You Need!" and Thanks again for sharing your awesome work!:woot::woot::woot:

He's ridiculous, isn't he? Builds a 6-unit battleship FROM SCRATCH in <3 weeks. OTOH, he also took 10+ YEARS to finish his Nagato. :p:rolleyes:

Well, all mechanics are in place, guns reworked with new elbows and mounted, wood is glassed, deck is marked and stained. The Super is now 90% finished.... more detail later... but will do for battle... all I need now is to skin, float to mark waterline, paint and do a little wiring...
Can it be done by the deadline?

All the wood you see there in the superstructure has been hollowed out... it is super light!

It looks like a dry dock on the prototype...

I like that, despite being on a tight schedule, you took the time to build that stand AND scribe plank lines in your deck.

Finished her first testing at the OCT battle in NC. I wanted to get her into the battle but we had some air issues that prevented it. Still, we got her on the water to test out the speed, turning etc....

Here is the video of her turning..

Looks good and turns well. Looks and sounds like you're a bit short in weight though - more to add still?

The hull is actually too tall we think, by like 3/4" It is at weight..

Dam plans are off, didnt really notice the difference till it was sheeted... then it showed!

Yep... Unless you have the original builders drawings, your just looking at somebody's interpretation of the ship.

Outstanding work. May I ask which plans you used for this (the ones that were inaccurate and made her taller than normal)?

You've gone a way in convincing me to add this particular wooden ship project to the to-do list
