Take more than some high winds and rain to take down a Dreadnought

yes, in todays modern era you'll need decades of financial neglect, rusty holes, and failing pumps.

On the plus side, it can't actually sink very far 'down' in that mud hole.

As far as I know the Texas is still ok,

The ship isn't actually stuck in the mud... when I did the hard hat tour a few years ago they told me there is normally 2-3 feet of water below the ship. From time to time a large enough ship will pass by and you can actually feel the ship "bump" the bottom from the wake.

The volunteers that work on the ship really do everything they can to try and preserve/restore the ship... but money is always the issue. The Navy did the ship no favors when she was turned over to the state.... the props were removed, the rudder was fixed in place (off-center), and the steam piping and electrical were cut.
