So, does anyone know if a USS Texas has been built for combat? I think it would be neat because of the fact she is still around... albeit in terrible shape

I believe so. I'm not sure which format, but I think at least on has been built. Mark Jenks (RCENGR) sells a laser cut kit for one. http://www.jenkse.us/rcengr/Kits.pdf

I've sold about 10 kits, unfortunately I have not seen any of them completed. The link the signature below should work, or you can PM me if you have questions.

I must shamefully admit that mine is still neatly packed flat. 2-3 ships ahead of it at the moment, and my pace is sluggish at best lately.

Well get up and BUILD, man! At this rate, you'll never have 30 to 40 unfinished boat projects sitting around!

[EDIT] Edited to specify BOAT projects :)

No, no, for unfinished projects, no building is required - simply procurement. :D

I was thinking, how hard would it be to have all 5 of Texass gun turrets functional ?

That would be a lot of stuff in not a lot of space.

Less than impossible but you would need to be very good at boatbuilding and very rich.

Not sure what one could omit from a combat warship to make room for the extra gas bottle and plumbing, the rotate mechanisms, etc.
