Windows will be cut out tomorrow since I dont have the tools for my air tools and the tools at work are better anyway.

    Helpful hint:
The 7 dollar dremel from harbor freight stinks greatly

LOL Don... Glad you let us know that, I'd thought about getting one as a back-up for the real Dremel.

Yeah overpowered tools are better than underpowered ones.

I cut some windows out last night but started late. I did switch tools though. Now im using the air powered drill from harbor freight with diamond cutoff wheels from HF. Once the air presure dropped the dust wasn't flying all over the place.

Don't give up on the 7 dollar dremel from HF so quick. Use a diamond cutoff wheel and it does much better. Just go in a straight line and hold the dremel at the same angle throughout the the entire cut or it will immeditaly bind.

Tomorrow I hope to start before 6 so I can finish cutting out all the windows.

    THEN PICTURES!!

does anyone know where to get 1/16" masking tape or 1/8" masking tape? Or should I just score a regular roll with a razor?

Have you tried your local hobby shop yet? I think ron said he bought out Kenvil Hobbies supply which is where I got it last time I needed it, but Ive seen it multiple places. I think the hobby town out in sussex had it but I havent been there in a while. or you can probably order it online at tower hobbies or wherever if push comes to shove and you really have to have it.

I have to find out if there are any hobby stores left anywhere near my house first. There used to be 3 or 4. I haven't seen any in a while.

You can try Hobbytown USA in Newton 9733009799 or Zepplin hobbies on rt 23 in Wayne 9738720400 or go get some auto pinstripe tape at a auto store. Kenvil hobbies only has 1/4 inch.

Its going well, thanks for asking. I got the armor belt and casemates in the middle done. Today im trying to finish the casemates at the bow and the stern. building casemates sucks, but i think it will be cool when i get them all done.

I guess you used a real dremel? My crappy 7 dollar dremel is as slow as the air gun after the pressure drops. Gotta finish tommorrow since theres no school. Im going so slow!!!! And no I cant sneak a 5 foot ship into work. Ill take the electric drills home tomorrow and see if thats better.
