Does the Sombra Labs SL-8 output standard R/C Servo pulses?
Do you have the ESC Programmed correctly?

Sounds like you need to set the endpoints on the ESC.

    Yes
    no.
But now it is and it works fine.

Now all I need to do is rip open my skotch koted servo and find whats wrong. I think the gears weren't seated correctly. Cause it wouldn't turn at all.

On my mtroniks marine viper 40 there are "poles" sticking up from the esc. Is there some sort of plug I can use? Or am I stuck doing a perfect solder job?

Yup I believe those are solder poles. You probably want to solder that connection even if you were able to use a connector. You wouldn't gain anything from using a connector there and it adds a failure point you don't need.

Yes, solder it. Don't mess around. I didn't realize you have 11 pages dedicated to your build. Where is this ship? GET ER DONE! Come on, you can't battle without having it sheeted at least. [:D]

Not being rude, I helped him for hours make guns. I want to see him hit water with this boat so we have another captain out there! [B)]

Ok. Now to sheeting and adding weight so I can do a "topless" sea test. I've been side tracked by terminators, titans, and the taint of chaos.

    I'll post pics soon

Have you epoxied in the deck/subdeck yet? Don's kicking butt on his NC cutout layout and redoing the Tennessee at the same time.
