    Hi Everyone,

I just recently learned of R/C Warship Combat. It looks like something that I wound very much enjoy. Looking around, I think that this might be the closest chapter to me.

Any tips or pointers for someone BRAND new to the hobby? (Can't just run up and check it out, as it is still a 4 hour drive up to the battle site I see on the schedule)

Thanks! I sent him a Private Message a few moments ago, found him on the map. Watching a video on how to build. Can't wait to get started!

How did you first hear of rc warship combat and also I assume you are older that 16? just asking because of the use of the cannons.

Thanks! I took a look at strike models earlier. I was also looking at the buy sell thread earlier to see if I could find a used boat before I build one of my own.

thanks! do you have a recommendation for a ship for someone just getting ino the hobby? I had originally thought about a destroyer, but doing some reading I decided against it and am looking at light cruisers instead.

yes a cruiser not to small of one though, your doing it correctly asking question recommend seeing a battle first before you buy anything. I struggled with a battleship that I built with no help,my first ship(I did not contact anyone).
